Asics: Run with Ryan

As part of its campaign for the recent New York City Marathon, Vitro conceived this video wall that depicted long distance runner Ryan hall sprinting at marathon speed across a tunnel in NYC’s Columbus Circle subway station. The wall featured a countdown, which allowed passersby to get in position and then see how they fared racing alongside the athlete.

CityScape already made the same (or almost the same) for Nike in 2008. Giant LED wall in Antwerp.

I saw this recently when they were setting it up. The company who did this was InWindow Outdoor (http://www.inwindowoutdoor.com) . They have some amazing stuff and some of the guys were explaining how it worked. It’s very impressive technology and you really need to go down there to get the whole experience. It looked incredible.
