Sagres is the main sponsor of the Portugese Liga, the First Division football league. To reinforce Sagres as a beer brand and to increase the attendance at matchdays, they made the wildest dream of a football supporter coming true.. They built up a whole system where they’d give thousands of people the chance to play their own match in the stadium of the first division teams. Sagres actually sucks. Super Bock FTW.

For the record, now it’s called “Liga Zon Sagres”, since Zon (a network and cable provider) and Sagres are now co-main sponsors. Yeah, our leagues have really crappy names.

We are PRO Belgian Beers. Yet Sagres is pretty tasty according to me!
The name of your league is maybe crappy, but your football is way better as ours..
