OK this has been done several times, but because the world cup of soccer is ending tomorrow we decided to post this anyway. It’s a perfect timing to do a campaign like this, especially in Holland where the entire country is turning orange.
This campaign is created by a student, the only question we are asking ourselves: did the professors never see this or the Burger King T-shirts ?
HBO and BBDO developed an amazing campaign lately called: “It’s more than you imagine”. In New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. they placed a 14 foot Cube on the streets where on 4 sides of the cubes, a story could be sen. It was the same story, but in an other angle, which made the story more interesting as you only see it on one side.
Check out their site HBO campaign to view the two stories. This campaign won Silver on the Cannes Lions awards.
A really nice guerilla campaign in Sao Paulo for a non-profit organisation called Agente Cidadão. The purpose is to collect as many clothes as possible for the homeless during the winter period.
The copy says: “Too many clothes make you cold. (Their blanket is also made with paper.)
Winter clothing drive. You donate. We carry. Somebody receives. Agente Cidadão.”

Millions of socks share the same fate everyday. They get lost and end up alone. Neu.de, a datingsite, found a way to lure single men and women to their site to find a (new) life partner.
They put white socks with the text “Also Single?” in many laundromats. Like that they would be confronted and visit their site to find a possible partner.
Hong Kong only has giant record labels. But somewhere, the sound of independent music is hiding, waiting to emerge. Zoo Record, an alternative music store wanted to break the monopoly of mainstream music.
14 indie bands, each made a song. People were given QR codes which could be scanned. If scanned a number of one of those bands was played. It resulted in people sharing their newly discovered music on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and personal blogs. But what was even more important was that more than half of the 14 bands sold out their albums within the first week, helping more people uncover the hidden sound of the city

To raise awareness for alzheimer these erasers were send out to local politicians and other institutions. Actual working erasers were hollowed out and fitted with USB memory sticks. Walkers is a British snack food company. They started with an integrated advertising campaign in the English city Sandwich, Kent by promoting meals at lunchtime. Walkers also introduced celebrities to the town’s life such as JLS, Jenson Button, Gary Lineker, Frank Lampard, Pamela Anderson, Al Murray, Marco Pierre White,…
Bosch VitaFresh refrigeration technology keeps vegetables, fish and meat fresh for extremely long periods. They promoted this technology with fresh Stone Age meat packs in German Supermarkets. You could “buy” tender sabre tooth fillets, juicy dinosaur legs or fresh mammoth steak. Watch the movie after the break.

Today we found this old publicity stunt for Mini. It’s always more fun in a Mini, maybe even as much fun as these old Matchbox cars everybody had has a child? Does anyone know which agency created this amazing campaign?
