Yesterday I was surfing to find some good outdoor campaigns, and this is one of the best I’ve seen. It’s an old (2007) Wonderbra campaign. I never saw it before, so I’m sure some of you didn’t either.
The Wonderbra line is implying that women wearing a push up have to back up further if a train is passing.
Before I said Guinness never lets me down with their campaigns, but I can state the same for Wonderbra. We’ve seen some great ads over here in the last few months.

Guinness: dartboard

Since this blog was created we’ve seen a couple of ads for Guinness, and to be honest they’ve never let me down. It would be nice to see some other brands take an example from the quality of the Guinness campaigns.

But off course Guinness is a beer, and you drink it in a bar. So the commercial activities should appeal to people in bars. We’ve seen one great example some time ago. Today I found another one, it’s pretty old (2006) but I’ve never seen it before so I think it’s worth sharing.

In New York, Saatchi & Saatchi created for Folgers Coffee a one of its kind campaign that featured pictures of a cup of coffee that were placed on steaming manhole covers all over the city.

It gives you the illusion of a steaming cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the aroma wafting through steam holes comes from the sewer below.

The slogan that goes along with ad is: “Hey, City That Never Sleeps. Wake up. Folgers.”

This baggage collection belt in the air port is turned a into a giant roulette wheel at Venice Marco Polo Airport. The slogan ironically says “Keep playing“. People spend about 10 to 15 minutes waiting at the belt for their luggage. Meanwhile they can guess on which number their piece of luggage will land.

According to the Venetian Casino, the visits increased by 60% since the eye catching ad appeared at the airport.

The Waterloo Station in London recently had a lot of attention.
Project Advertising and Titan Outdoors, the largest transit advertising company presented a new projection technique.
I don’t know how they do it, but if this technique is only in its beginning stage, imagine what the possibilities are in a few years.. Can’t wait to see more of this!

This is a really original idea. Roland Semprie is a Canadian personal trainer and to promote his services this T-shirt was designed. Imagine a lot of people wearing this at the gym, it’s pretty funny.

Franck Ribéry. Even a anti-football fan knows him.
He is not like Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo or other southern football players. But currently he’s the best French football player. Even Zidane has called Ribéry the “jewel of French football.”

When he was 2 years old he got involved in a car crash. Ribéry suffered serious facial injuries that resulted in over one hundred stitches. And although Ribéry isn’t worlds most beautiful player, he is a popular player amongst the public. In Bayern Munich the merchandising couldn’t live without him.

Nike also uses its jewel often to amuse the crowd. Look a this video where he jokes around with Luca Toni, his colleague but also the man whom he lost again in the World Cup Soccer in 2006.
In the next video pretends that he’s a wax sculpture.. Look at what happens.

On the doors of a lift in a law firm a wedding photo was attached. Too bad every time the doors opened the couple had to split up. If people were in the same position they could find help inside the lift: a sign showed the name of a divorce lawyer and the floor were she could be found.
