There has been a lot of buzz around the following videos. But we know now, the videos have been made for STA Travel. It is one of the two largest travel organizations for students and young people.

“3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage.”And apparently all done without the help of a big crew or agency, thrifty production just like STA Travel’s offers.

PETA: Fashion Prices

PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, ran an interactive poster campaign in Singapore using advertisements fashion leather boots, bags and belts to draw attention to the all-too-common ugly side of the fashion industry. Viewers were invited to download the Stickybits application, scan a barcode with their smartphone, and “discover a new dimension of shopping”. When the barcode was scanned viewers were shown videos by Pamela Anderson and Joaquin Phoenix revealing the true cost of the item they were about to buy, and an invitation to explore cruelty-free shopping alternatives. Red Cross: Give life, Donate blood

Amsterdam directors Andre Maat & Henk Loorbach created this film together with Berlin agency Heimat for the Red Cross to ask people to “give life and donate blood”.

Animations were made on a silicon re-production of the model’s head before the actual shoot. Then the entire film was projected on the model’s face and recorded in almost one shot.
