Bovil DDB in Eindhoven made this extremely cool direct mailing for Philips. Apparently Philips created a special light that attracts bugs and they’ve fully integrated this into this card. With the help of a little magnet the insect is attracted by the light.

Tok&Stok is a manufacturer of self-assembly furniture, something like Ikea. They even made their business cards into a little self-assembly chair. Pretty fun to do, and the customer will probably never forget about this business card.

The new Leica V-Lux 20 is the perfect snapshot camera, small, user friendly and most of all the quality of the pictures is amazing. On a trade fair they gave away these iPhone cases to illustrate how small the camera is. The copy says: ‘Same size, better pictures.’

In São Paulo Brazil there are more than 40 printing companies, but ArtCenter is the one that pops out with this direct marketing campaign. They delivered free pizzas to all the advertising agencies in town. But it were no ordinary pizzas, the topping of the pizzas was printed onto the dough. Fantastic!

Companies keep on finding new and creative ways to personalize their business cards. This pilates institute has cards that can be turned into little puppets with flexible limbs. Hopefully the quality of the cards is good enough so it wont lose an arm or a leg.

WWF celebrates its 50th anniversary, and WWF Colombia therefore wanted to send a present to commemorate and celebrate the 50 years of environmental conservation. The idea was by creating a living calendar. The calendar was made out of a small tube filled with water, with a small plant underneath. “By just moving a finger for 3 seconds, we give water to a plant. If we repeat this small act everyday it becomes an act that supports our cause and will change the perception of what can we do to help the planet

SL is the public transport company of Stockholm; they are launching an access-card (the equivalent of the London Oyster card). But SL was still looking for a design for this card. With this campaign they are encouraging young designers to participate in the design-contest. Miniature canvasses (exactly the size of an access-card) were sent out to 100 design students, they got 183 submissions from design students! In total 8970 designs were submitted for this contest.
As requested: click here for the official website where you can vote on the designs.

“Before you can work for a company, you’ve got to apply for a job. And that means; writing a letter”. Mercedes therefore came up with this crazy idea. They’ve put a motivation letter on the tires of a Sprinter, got some ink (mudd) and ‘drove’ the letter onto pieces of paper. The letters would then be sent to various companies with the link where they could check how the letter was composed.. Genious!

To raise money for the people who continue to be affected by devastating floods in Pakistan the countries largest newspaper delivered these wet newspapers. They only delivered them to a select upper-income subscriber list. This DM tried people to donate to the cause set up by the newspaper itself.
