This is the last Vintage Tuesday in its row.
On October 13th the Vintage-saga began with ‘Smoking is good for you’. From then on Creative Criminals provided their viewers weekly, vintage compilations of lingerie, old posters, christmas ads, beers & spirits, cars, etc..
Now, 6 months further, we decided to give Vintage Tuesday a rest. We’ve made 26 compilations, with over 175 carefully selected vintage ads.

Vintage lovers, have no fear! We will still continue to supplement our ‘Vintage-Category’ with some of the best campaigns ever made.. Below you can see only a fraction of our vintage-material.

Horro, you either love it or hate it.
The constant striving of the makes to elicit the emotions of fear, horror and terror from viewers. The first depictions of supernatural events appear in several of the silent shorts in the late 1890s.

Since then, many horror movies have been created to scare the viewer. And for every movie, comes a poster to promote the horror. Here below you can find a fraction of all the horror-movie-posters.
If you have any other eye-catching posters, let us know! We’ll add them to our selection!
Enjoy or be terrified!

Armory and guns, they cause more misery than joy. If there is one wish that a lot of people would have in common, than it would be next to ‘world peace’, ‘burn ALL the guns’. And we can’t blame them..
Why do we actually need guns? Because others have them? Lame excuse! Yet there are a lot of proponents for guns. No, not the scum and criminals, but the hobby-shooters…

For them taking off their guns would be like playing football without a ball. It’s kind of hard to shoot an animal with a catapult isn’t it?
For this weeks’ Vintage Tuesday we’ve selected some armory/gun ads. Revolvers, shotguns and snipers..
Check it out!

The summer is coming..
Many can’t wait until the season begins. BBQ’s, holidays, swimming, tanning, …
But for many the summer isn’t all about fun. They’re realizing that in a couple of months they will have to look fit and in shape, if they want to lay on the beach to rest and tan..

For years now, products and fitness-clubs are advertising to attract people to use their product or service. It comes in all shapes and sizes. We’ve selected some of them for you, beginning in the year 1920 and ending up with a woman in the eigthies, that probably would have beaten us all back then..
Enjoy!

When searching the internet after some more “new” material for our Vintage Tuesday, we found some crazy examples of how future used to look like..
Some of the things we’ve found were pretty much it what we have nowadays (f.e. the TV>). But these wouldn’t be interesting to see, would they?

A flying bus, a gigantic computer with horsepower in it and a robot that could type, none of it is too crazy for our gold old Vintage Tuesday…

Throughout the years mankind found better and faster solutions to get from point A to point B. Riding a horse, by boat, by bike, by train, by car, by airplane, … we’ve seen it all!
What will the next step be? By rocket or by teletransporter? Who will tell..

For this weeks’ Vintage Tuesday we’ve selected 6 vintage ads promoting different ways of transportation. Bicycle – Boat – Train – Bike – Car – Airplane.
You can clearly see not only the way of transport changing, but also the way of promoting it..
Enjoy!

War, you often ask yourself: Why are those two parties having a war? Where did it start and where is it going to end. Thousands and millions victims and unnecessary suffering just to conquer a piece of ’strategic’ land or to fight another religion.
Yet mankind is somehow always struggled in a war..

For this weeks’ Vintage Tuesday we’ve selected some ads relating to the war bonds. War bonds are debt securities issued by a government for the purpose of financing military operations during times of war. They generate capital for the government and make civilians feel involved in their national militaries.
We’ve selected some of the striking ads relating to war bonds in the first and second world war.

Animals don’t smoke. So why bothering to link your tobacco-brand with an animal?
I’ve asked myself the question several times and probably it is to differentiate your brand from the others. Camel did it and it worked out just fine for them..

But what if the competitors have exactly the same idea.. For this weeks’ Vintage Tuesday we’ve selected several vintage print ads where all kind of animals are promoting ‘their’ tobacco brand. From a penguin to a lion and a bird to an elephant.. You name it, Creativecriminals.com has it!
