Anyone recognizes this car? It’s a Maserati, one of the most manly Italian car brands. Let’s say that if you own one, you’re ‘the man’. And we think that this beautiful woman (you can tell it because of her hand) definitely wants to go for a ride..
The three following ads are also a good example to piss off feminists.. The first one is for men with a dreary sex life. Try buying your wife an in-sink erator! She’ll be so happy that she’ll want to pamper you, three times a day!
If you are a jealous type and hate it when men are looking at your girlfriend, try to put on some Griffin Microsheen. That’ll prevent guys from staring like they’ve seen a ghost.. NOT!
And the last one goes to Thermodor, a micro wave, hot-food server and a self cleaning oven in one! If you look at the facial expression of the couple and at the text (we’ve indicated it) that says: “… it allows you to tamper with time by giving you freedom to serve, when it’s convenient..”. But honestly, we known that the man only needs five minutes to do his thing..

Print Ads Four Roses, an American bourbon published our first print ad. It shows two fishermen, one holding the caught fishes, the other holding the bottle. “Luck like this, deserves whiskey like this“.
The second print ad claims that if girls go out on a bachelor’s pad, they need a bottle of White Horse to have fun. And did anyone recognized the lady on the left? Her name is Maud Solveig Christina Wikström, known from her role as a bond girl in ‘The Octopussy’.
Who would have thought that Woody Allen would be in a commercial? Here he is in a ‘66 print ad for Smirnoff. Come out of your shell Woody!

‘The Brandy from Napoleon’, that’s how Courvoisier, a brand of cognac based in Jarnac, positions itself. It shows a man giving a bottle to the Emperor. A big bottle for a small man..
The following print ad from Chivas shows two women sitting at a table. The woman on the left says “I knew the honeymoon was over, when he stopped ordering me Chivas Regal”. I wouldn’t want to be married to her!
The last one is the best. It’s for Johnnie Walker, showing us an Egyptian mural with one person holding a packaged bottle Johnnie Walker. “For the man who has everything. Red stands out”
Once upon a time homosexuality was a taboo. Many said that if you were gay, you were mentally ill. Some people even treated gays like they were psychopaths or pedofiles. Nowadays it isn’t that bad anymore but still there are men or women finding it hard to ‘come out of the closet’ because of reactions of their family and friends.
Luckily those days are practically over now and people take their friend or relative as they are. Rightly, because they aren’t different from the others.
For this weeks’ Vintage Tuesday we’ve found ads specially focussed to homosexuals. Why do we post these? Because you have to admit that some of them are hilarious.

Print Ads Wilt Chamberlain was an American professional NBA basketball player who played for the 76ers (Philadelphia), the Lakers but also for the Harlem Globetrotters. He is considered by his contemporaries as one of the greatest and most dominant players in the history of the NBA. His length was always one of his most powerful weapons and BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) made a funny ad regarding Chamberlain’s length. OJ Simpson is a retired American football player, football broadcaster, actor, and spokesman. OJ was acquitted of the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman after a long and highly publicized criminal trial. The trial, often characterized as “the trial of the century,” culminated on October 3, 1995 in a jury verdict of not guilty for the two murders. Nowadays he spends his days in the prison, for other felonies he was charged. In the second ad you can see OJ an ad for Dingo shoes.
The third ad features Cathy Rigby, a gymnast, actress and speaker. She was the face of a campaign selling feminine napkins that prevents menstrual odour. The print ad speaks for itself..

In this ad for Lee, they have more attention for her long legs and behind, than for the pants itself. Chris Evert is a former world number 1 professional tennis player from the United States. She won 18 Grand Slam singles championships, including a record seven championships at the French Open and a record six championships at the U.S. Open. “Sixteen years of tennis can wear out more than shoes, balls and rackets. It can wear out your hair and skin just as fast”
