Sprint wanted to launch their new popular EVO, the phone that helps you do what you love without limits on the their unlimited network. How could they highlight just how much EVO helps you do what you love? New York has a lot of things to love. That’s why Sprint created the Unlimited Love Billboard, a Times Square interactive board that helped people discover more of what they have unlimited love for in NYC.

Polowers, are Polo Followers. The Polo is a popular car amongst young people. DDB Spain therefore developed a strategy in social networks aimed to convert the brand in the first topic of conversation on Twitter for a day. The campaign generated more than 150,000 tweets 8 hours after launching, at a rate of 5 tweets per second.

Ogilvy Brussels was looking for a new webdesigner with fresh ideas. They knew that unemployed webdesigners can’t afford the crazily expensive application suite they need to work and they may be tempted to download it through a not so legal way. They uploaded a file supposed to provide the essential application suite on many pirate sharing websites. When webdesigners downloaded the file, they discovered that the application suite was not in the package.


Old Spice: Dikembe Mutumbo

If we believe the Mayans, the world will end the 21st of december. But luckily there is Old Spice, who managed to get Dikembo Mutumbo, a retired Congolese American professional basketball player who last played for the Houston Rockets of the NBA. They made a video game called Dikembe Mutombo’s 4 1/2 Weeks to Save the World , which features the retired NBA star and a sub machine gun with pickle laser.

This is a cool idea, made by a student in the Forsbergs School of Design and Advertising, Sweden. It shows a way of promoting the well known Google Translate, by letting it translate different song. In the video they show examples of Psy-Gangnam style in English and Carly Rae Jespen in German.

Trains are dangerous. If you do not watch out around them, you can die. And that is a dumb way to die. Thats the message behind a new commercial for the Melbourne’s Metro Trains. With a catchy song and a cool simple clip, they managed to show the cutest little death animations you’ll ever see. This is a hit!

This is pretty impressive, Google managed to map out 100.000 Stars in an interactive visualization of the stellar neighborhood. It includes real location data of over 100,000 nearby stars, including 87 major named stars and our solar system.
