This flag campaign was made for Grande Reportagem Magazine. The idea is to bring across concept that the magazine offers profound journalism about topics of real importance to the world of today.

The colours of the 7 different flags provide some shocking facts about the country. All the data was checked with the United Nations and Amnesty International, as well as other national institutions.

The following flags are displayed: Brazil, Somalia, Colombia, China, Burkina Faso, Angola, USA. Also view the flag of the European Union.

FxPro, the brand name of FxPro Financial Services Limited, is an online retail trading broker in Contracts for Difference on foreign exchange, shares, futures and precious metals.
In this print ad they’ve edited one dollar bill: ‘In God we trust’ has changed into “In speed we trust” and Benjamin Franklin, one of the founders the United States is pictured wit a helmet on..

Sky TV: High Definition

“There is more to watch in HDTV”.
If you click on the images, you’ll notice a certain detail which the people with no HD-TV, are not able to see.. Sky TV and Giovanni + Draftfcb took famous scenes from ‘The Shining’ (Jack Nicholson), ‘The Godather’ (Marlon Brando) & Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone).

VH1: The evolution of an artist

Famous artists are becoming more and more extreme in their appearance, and sometimes it even looks like they are more ugly when they become more successfull. These funny drawings illustrate this phenomenon perfectly. When they earn a golden record they look the worst.

Seat: Avoid Surprises

Have you ever had the people dressed like the village people, asking for a lift? Probably not.
But have you ever had a cop pulling you off the road, for a check-up? Probably you do..
Seat newest print ad shows a police officer stopping a car. But on his right end you can see the rest of his crew, waiting to get a lift too.

Covergirl: Bold

Covergirl is a make-up product who makes eyelashes look thicker. The agency Grey in Buenos Aires, made this simple yet striking ad to promote its effect on the eyes. You can see 2 eyes, with thickened eyelashes and underneath a sort of toolbar where the “B” is indicated.

Cemex: Bridge

Cemex is one of the worlds biggest cement producers, with this funny ad they try to increase brand awareness rather than increasing sales. The ad dates from 2007 but we ran across it today and thought it’s definitely worth sharing.

VW: Shoelaces

The Sunshine Coast Stingrays are an Australian rugby union club, based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. VW, one of its sponsors made this creative advertisement with the following tagline: “We’re proud to support the Sunshine Coast Stingrays.” Have a look at the shoelaces and the logo of Volkswagen.

Smart: Small alleys

Smart, known for its compact cars uses very small alleys to promote its small cars. These three print ads show such small streets that it is impossible to drive trough although there are street signs pointed at it for cars.

Apple: Think different

This is the story of one of the most successful campaigns in the history of advertising. It’s the story of Apple’s ‘Think different’ campaign. We are not only talking about an original idea or a beautiful ad, the campaign actually worked, and how… During the 90’s Apple was in a crisis, and with only one campaign they have managed to climb out of this slump. Steve Jobs once said: “It only took 15 . . . 30 . . . maybe 60 seconds to re-establish Apple’s counter-culture image that it had lost during the 90s”.
