This print ad of Suavitel, a brand of fabric softener is a witty parody on of the movie poster of Jaws, the American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg about sharks. “Don’t let ironing threaten your family time”.

At first sight it looks like a car missed the curve, but when you look closer it’s completely different. The metal is bent the other way around so the car got onto the road in this curve. A great offroad vehicle so it appears.

Photographer Bjoern Ewers directed this creative advertising campaign for the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra that shows beautiful views of the insides of various instruments. Shot using a macro lens, each one looks more like a giant music hall than a musical instrument. Thank you Jur Heyboer for the tip.

El Bocón: blanks

This campaign is a couple of months old but we’ve just picked it up again and absolutely love it. The Peruvian newspaper ‘El Bocón’, one of the countries leading sports newspapers, took a stand for peace in soccer violence. When a fan got killed in riots after a match, they removed all of the soccer news out of their newspaper. They left blank spots where the news was supposed to be. Great innovative way to take a stand as a newspaper.
