Specsavers: Billions parody

Posted by Rindert Dalstra on March 17, 2010 No comments yet

A few years ago Axe (Lynx in the UK) made a commercial with a lot of women in bikini hunting down a guy who’s spraying himself with Axe deodorant. Specsavers, the biggest optical retailer in the UK, made this amusing parody.

Stella Artois: Woman Vs Beer

Posted by Bert Callens on March 15, 2010 No comments yet

Stella Artois and Mother London are the perfect match. Their commercials nowadays always have this “vintage-french”-feeling (but we know better). This new commercial also does, and compares a pint with a woman..
And believe it or not, they don’t differ that much…

Last week we’ve posted this hilarious commercial for old spice. Today we found another one, it’s not as good as the previous one, but it’s still really entertaining. You have to admit the tagline is really smart: ‘ I’m a man and I smell like a man. But sometimes I like to smell like a different smelling man. The point is men need a variety of scents so Old Spice makes a variety of scents.’
See alternative endings after the jump.

Mr. Bean is 20 years. The clumsy, somewhat autistic type is especially known for his short sketches on TV. But he also did some short sketches for advertisers in his career.. These two are for Rema 1000, a Norwegian supermarket.
Anybody knows other commercials featuring Mr. Bean?

The digital spot features a whale swimming through a sea of plastic pollution desperate to reach the open surface. The whale soon becomes completely coated with plastic debris as he breaches through a floating bed of plastic bottles, bags, and soda rings, where he remains beached.

It was made for the Rise Above Plastics Program of the Surfrider Foundation. They respond to the problem of plastic litter in our ocean and marine environments.

Frito-Lay is a company that produces potato chips, but it’s extremely concerned about the environment as well. They dream of a world with less waste. That’s why they’ve introduced a bag made from plants so it’s fully compostable. A chips package is designed to fully break down in just 14 weeks.
After the jump you can see a movie that shows the composting process of one bag of chips.
