The Last Exorcism

Check out this viral. It is a teaser for the Last Exorcism. When a bunch of guys are looking to a hot girl via the Webcam, she suddenly starts to go creepy on them.
This is a good campaign, because of the interactivity, but also because of the amazing idea!

Gillette: Federer’s Trick

Posted by Bert Callens on August 18, 2010 No comments yet

Here’s a new Gillette video that has been making the rounds. It shows Roger Federer, professional tennis player and face of Gilette, performing a trick, which most tennis players would probably fale at.. He knocks a bottle of a guy’s head from a distance during a commercial shoot.
Fake or Real? It’s up to you to decide..

Runners Point: You’d better Run!

Posted by Bert Callens on August 13, 2010 No comments yet

This Top Topical (=a parody based on a true story) is most probably the best one ever published. On ABC-News, a news reporter alarmed people to look out for a man who had raped a woman. But what the news reporte didn’t knew is that the criminal coincidentally looked a lot like him. Logically, pictures had been taken and were sent around on the internet.
Runners Point (Germany), a shoe shop, has then made this following parody. Dared, simple, but o so striking..

We lost our Gold: $10.000 Treasure

Posted by Bert Callens on August 12, 2010 No comments yet

On the website of We lost our Gold you can find a treasure map. There is a wooden chest buried somewhere within the five boroughs of New York City, and it is filled with $10,000 in U.S. currency. If you want it, you can decode the videos presented on their website. If somebody finds it, it’s all his/hers.

There has been quite a bit of buzz about who might attempt a wild stunt like this. A large corporate sponsor eager to generate buzz through viral marketing? Perhaps a promotion for New York City tourism? Not at all. According to a recent write-up in the New York Times, We Lost Our Gold is a completely independent venture, conceived by two Brooklyn-based guys, one a puppetmaker and one a freelance video editor, who would like to remain anonymous for now.

Coca-Cola: Burn! (literally)

Posted by Bert Callens on July 24, 2010 No comments yet

This is a remarkable promo-film for Coca-Cola’s Burn energy drink. We know not everybody loves skateboarders, and sometimes you want to get rid off them, forever, but Coca-Cola exagerates a bit in this one by setting some skateboarders on fire..
Nice movie though!

Head: Andy Murray

The pressure on Andy Murray shoulder is immense. Since the national football team of England is out in the World Cup, Andy Murray has to be the British proud of 2010.
Last year we posted a commercial for Robinsons that also counted on Murray to bring home the cup.
This one is not as amusing as the viral made for Tiger Woods or Ronaldinho, but it is a close one!

Hi-Tech: Walk on Water

Posted by Bert Callens on May 15, 2010 No comments yet

Liquid Mountaineering is a new sport in Europe where the purpose is to run, on water, as long as possible. These guys posted their video on Youtube showing their impressive skills. After two weeks, the video was viewed over 2 million times.
Eventually it seemed to be a viral for Hi-Tec, who promotes their water-resistant running shoes.
But what a good viral! This news reporter must feel stupid..

Motorola: Droid

The Motorola Droid is an Internet and multimedia enabled smartphone designed by Motorola, which runs Google’s Android operating system. Many claim that the little multimedia cell-phone outclasses the iPhone. Frankly, we would not know as we don’t owe any. But what we do know is that Motorola knows how to make virals for its Anroid..

After the jump you can see the Droid changing traffic lights, detecting how much money people are holding, checking out what the cup size is of a beauty, performing a sonography on a pregnant woman, taser people and translate what a dog is barking.
Ok, maybe that’s a little over the hedge..
