Bing’s Decode with Jay-Z campaign, launched in 2010, was recognized with Gold at the One Show held in New York. The out of home campaign involved placing each of the 320 pages of Jay Z’s book, Decode, in 600 unique traditional, nontraditional and digital advertising placements 15 cities around the world. Visitors to the Decode with Jay-Z site were able to claim prizes for identifying the location of the pages on Bing Maps.

Wow, what a campaign.

Bing deserve alot of credit for pulling this off, this campaign must have cost multi-millions. Everything would have had to be planned in great detail. Who is to say that the idea was original, what matters is that the campaign was executed in a timely fashion and it was massively amplified using various channels and ideas. All I can say is well done Bing, and the people behind it all.
