For those who don’t know Swedish House Mafia, it is a popular house band in Europe. So popular that Absolut wanted to work with them. Result: this great sci-fi videoclip..

In its perpetual quest for purity, Absolut has called upon German artist Simon Schubert to create an extremely pure work of art. Thanks to his expert technique of folding pieces of paper, Simon Schubert designs images with different perspectives by mastering shadows and light. No ink, no paint, 100% cellulose paper. The masterpiece has been installed for a week in a bus shelter completely covered in white.

Playing with the iconic Absolut bottle keeps on going. This print ad uses the blank concept again, only depicting the shape of the bottle through which people can create something new.

Last week we presented a video of Absolut Blank, now we show you the 16 print advertisements that go along with the campaign.

Under the tagline “It all starts with an Absolut Blank,” the campaign blends print, interactive, digital, and installation art as the artists used the blank canvas of the bottle to indulge their creative inspirations including light installations, murals and collages. The campaign, which highlights various mediums of artistic expression, launched in the UK.

Absolut Vodka made some blank silhouettes of their iconic bottle. Artists were invited to turn these silhouettes into their own personal works of art. The results were presented on the streets. Street art meets advertising.

To promote the limited edition of the Absolute bottle Glimmer in 2010 an amazing idea was created with typography and light in Brazil. The whole concept will be explained in the following video.

The vodka brand Absolut has requested Spike Jonze (best known for his collaborations to the movie Being John Malkovich), to participate in a ground breaking short film. The partnership acknowledges the brand’s position as a pioneering and culture-shaping brand.




The short film is called “I’m Here” and is a 30-minute love story about the relationship between two robots living in L.A. It is said that the short film shows the director his vision of the brand Absolut.
It premiered last week on the Sundance film festival.

I just like the fact a bottle can become so famous, they don’t need to put a label on it, everyone knows this is a bottle of Absolut…

For over 25 years Absolut vodka has had a simply genius advertising campaign. The well known bottle of Absolut is the shape of a Swedish Medicine Bottle. Which is hard to use for bartenders but the shape was an inspiration for their print campaign.

The principle is simple. Always create the same shape with a dazzling image using all different kinds of techniques. The prints that were displayed in magazines became collector items and even famous artists and writes helped creating them. According to Advertising Age magazine, the Absolut vodka campaign was one of the ten best campaigns of the 20th century.
