When you go on a vacation to relax you sure don’t want to be aware of the time. And how is this possible in Switzerland? The land of clocks? This commercial beautifully illustrates Switzerland’s efforts to make their tourists feel as relaxed as possible.

A 65m long table complete with 257 empty chairs sits as a grim reminder of this year’s road toll. Each empty place remembers a life lost on Victorian roads. As the road toll rises, chairs were added to the table. Over the time of the installation 6 chairs joined the table.

What the hell is Virgin Atlantic thinking about themselves? The company is ran by superheroes? But besides that the commercial is pretty cool. Some great shots and good stories made it worth sharing.

13th Street: The target

We’ve seen some great campaigns by 13th street in the past. And with this direct mailing they’ve done it again. Black tubes were sent directly to media agencies and advertising networks. In this tube they found some bullet casings and a target range poster. Each poster was hit several times in the bulls eye with the message: ‘to hit your target, rely on the professionals’. On a website they could discover how the poster was made. And that was the cool part, every poster was shot by the management of 13th street for real. Besides being a fun campaign it delivered great results as well.

We can only salute agencies who wish us happy holidays, and wishing us creative holidays is even better. When creating an advertising concept it often starts with a piece of paper and a pencil. That’s the start of this commercial as well, turning out in a nice stop motion movie ending with the message ‘I wish you creative holidays’ in Dutch.

Kindertraum.ch can help you in ways to deliver your baby in ways you wouldn’t expect. Unfortunately this ad will probably not work as god for people from Switzerland who already know the company. Well at least it’s entertaining for all the others who can watch it here.

This year BBDO Belgium didn’t prepare a Christmas Card for its clients because the Mayas predicted the end of the world. Seen we’re still walking around today, they were wrong and so BBDO Brussels asked a Maya to come and explain to their clients why they didn’t send them a card. If you forgot to send a Christmas card to your family our friends as well, please feel free to use him. The message you’ll send will be personalized with your and their names in audio (if it’s a common name) and subtitles. Click on the image below to try it for yourself. Make sure to select your language in the upper right corner.

A lot of companies are wishing you happy holidays the last few weeks. But Havas Chicago takes it one step further and developed the ‘buzzed buzzer’. A buzzer to celebrate new years and tests the amount of alcohol in your body at the same time.
