Jim Beam is a brand of bourbon whiskey and to promote that their bourbon taste never changes the made this clever billboard comparing their product to men. They state that men never change and prove it with the tag line: “Guys think about sex every sex seconds”.

Whiskey is often drank by men. Women can’t always appreciate the strong taste and mostly they mix it with other drinks to make it softer.
But this particular whiskey, Deans, is especially mild and not only meant for the rugged guys.
This is proved by the print ad who shows a Scotsman whose skirt is blown up by a passing subway train. Now I wonder where he got that pose from?

A while ago Rindert posted a really cool series of print ads for Absolut wodka. Today I found a new one, but I haven’t posted this one for the creativeness of the ad. I just like the fact a bottle can become so famous, they don’t need to put a label on it, everyone knows this is a bottle of Absolut…
For over 25 years Absolut vodka has had a simply genius advertising campaign. The well known bottle of Absolut is the shape of a Swedish Medicine Bottle. Which is hard to use for bartenders but the shape was an inspiration for their print campaign.
The principle is simple. Always create the same shape with a dazzling image using all different kinds of techniques. The prints that were displayed in magazines became collector items and even famous artists and writes helped creating them. According to Advertising Age magazine, the Absolut vodka campaign was one of the ten best campaigns of the 20th century.
In this post you will find more than 75 different advertisements according to well known places around the world. Click Continue under this image to see them all.
The agency that helped Absolut with creating these amazing advertisements was TBWA/Chiat/Day.
