Playboy Magazine: Casting

Posted by Sander Janssen on February 3, 2010 No comments yet

Playboy Argentina launched a unique casting campaign. This time they don’t use celebrities or top models in their magazine, they are searching their new models amongst regular people. Everyone can try to become one of the new models.
They’ve created a (fictional) professional photo shoot by using a webcam and the internet. All the models can select their best pictures and upload them in a photo album. By voting on these albums the new Playboy model will be selected.

Aerolineas Argentinas: Box

Posted by Bert Callens on January 15, 2010 No comments yet

This commercial suddenly popped out of the internet archives. It dates back from 2004 and is a feel-good commercial for Aerolineas Argentinas (Argentinian Airlines). It won several prices, including gold in Cannes Lions.

The story is about a boy that once caught a plane on a sunny day. He was convinced that this plane could take him anywere and protected the box with his life.
Nobody believed him, until…

This is a nice print ad for Mini, implying the Mini is so agile it can turn between these cones without any problem.

Axe: Destiny

Posted by Rindert Dalstra on November 30, 2009 No comments yet

Axe Temptation gives young men hope that they can get any girl. The fragrance “Destiny” is totally fair depending on who you ask. A young man and a young woman live parallel yet very similar lives, however they have never met eachother and it seems that destiny will bring them together. Unfortunately the guy is not wearing the Axe. “So sorry Destiny. The power of Fragrance.”

Tck Tck Tck: Sky

Posted by Sander Janssen on November 22, 2009 2 comments

TckTckTck is a brand of ‘The Global Campaign for Climate Action’. GCCA is founded to build a climate deal in Copenhagen this December, it’s a collaboration of International NGOs. For al the publicitywork for GCCA the name TckTckTck is used, this name indicates that “time is running out”

We’ve seen another Tck ad passing by some time ago. The graphical work in this campaign is better, I just don’t really like the slogan: ‘What they do happens to us. The powers are the main cause of the changing climate. Let’s demand a fair agreement in Copenhagen.’
Maybe it’s the translation? Can anyone tell me if the original Spanish slogan makes more sense?
