This week we post a creative ambient ad made for Specsavers in New Zealand. It ran an advertising campaign promoting Specsavers Frankton, Remarkables Centre, Frankton, on the back of what appears to be an Intercity bus. Parked at Frankton Airport, near Queenstown, the bus appears to have backed into a bus stop sign. “Should have gone to Specsavers Frankton”.

There has been a lot of buzz around the following videos. But we know now, the videos have been made for STA Travel. It is one of the two largest travel organizations for students and young people.

“3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage.”And apparently all done without the help of a big crew or agency, thrifty production just like STA Travel’s offers.

Watch the other two videos after the break.

Under the slogan “Lose your licence and you are screwed.” The Motor accident commission of South Australia came up with these two extremely funny commercials. They illustrate what people go through in order to keep their licence, whatever it takes. A guy and a girl finish their romantic evening in a taxi and a guy goes through all sorts of trouble to make his friends believe he is actually driving his car instead of his mother. The second clip can be viewed after the jump.

A lovely commercial for the new Volkswagen Touareg. This guy goes to bed every night and wakes up in his car in the morning. The concept is nice but in our opinion the spot is a bit too long, the ending isn’t that great.
