It’s pretty hard to start your own business these days. That’s why KBC bank decided to help beginning entrepreneurs instead of being a pain in the #@$. Together with the inhabitants of every single town in Belgium they went searching for what businesses were needed in – yet again – every town in the country.
This campaign was created by TBWA Belgium and created quite some buzz in the press. The lack of local business became a national topic and was even put on the government agenda. On average 560 gaps were reported for each town and more 1500 new business were started as a direct result of the campaign.

Intouch is an insurance company based in Russia. They wanted to show how unpredictable car accidents are, and that it’s better to have a good insurance. To do so, they launched “car versus piano” a concept where people had to guess, when a piano, that was hanged with ropes above a car, would fall. Absurd, we know, but check out the execution..

A very cool stunt was done by German bank ING-DiBa. They figured out a way to use your smartphone to control an animated basketball shot. This game was placed at major basketball matches. We’re a fan of the concept but what is the real benefit the bank is getting from it?

What can you do when a house is so sad it starts weeping and even literally crying? A facelift. Axa, a Belgian bank painted a sad house in the middle of Antwerp. The idea got a lot of free PR and after a couple of days people noticed that the house smiled again. Thanks to the loan given by Axa.

This woman wakes up in a random hotel room having no idea what happened the night before. After a while it becomes clear she married someone the day before. It appears to be nobody less than George Clooney himself, it’s something else then the Nespresso ads don’t you think?

A bank manages your money and should therefore be trusted. For this reason they create most of the time pretty serious and boring advertisements. Advertising agency Ogilvy in Ukraine found this an opportunity to “not be surprising”. Resul: a funny commercial for a retail bank.
