Carlsberg: Bikers at the movies

You gather 148 bikers into a cinema and leave only two seats in the middle available. This provides us with great footage of unexpecting couples who buy the tickets for these two free spots. Do they make the right choice and leave? Or is it the right choice to gather all their courage and take place between these bad boys? If they make the right one it calls for a Carlsberg. This campaign was made in collaboration with the Belgian production company Monodot.

The chosen one: 999 beer tasters

Apparently The Boundary Road Brewery allowed 999 beer tasters to select the flavour of their new brew called ‘The chosen one’. The copy of this print ad looks like one big block of text but actually it are all the names of the beer tasters who selected this flavour. So if you don’t like it you should blame them.

Usually Rindert is posting all the Heineken ads, but this time he is too slow. Some might find this commercial too dull, but just listen to the narrator and you will love it. Great voice and copywriting!

Here’s a funny video from Heineken. Olaf Elsonson, chairman of the Swedish Academy anounces that Heineken Vriesglas is nominated for the Physics Nobel Prize. With vriesglas Heineken refers to the special designed glass that keeps a beer cold.

A couple of years ago the Belgian beer producer Vedett turned a concrete mixer into a beer bottle. This year their brand team took it to the next level. Now they made a ‘motel’ out of a concrete mixer truck. The Vedett Motel has 2 king size beds, flat screen TV + DVD, air-conditioning, internet connection, outdoor shower, outdoor dining area at the back and of course a refrigerator full of Vedett. The Vedett Motel will be used on different cool summer events in Europe. Click here if you want to see more pictures.

The extended version spot titled “Respect” was shot in the historic city of Prague and features a gallant young man using every article of clothing at his disposal to impress the girl. The stylish strip teasing spot ends however with the gentlemen giving the ultimate mark of ‘respect’ to the pint of Stella.

Six months after winning an award for ‘The Entrance’, a short vid that generated over 4 million views on Youtube, Heineken launched a new short movie called ‘The Date’. It looks a lot like The Entrance, only with an additional Bollywood touch.

Bud Light: Write-on Label

For a limited time, Bud Light is pimping a new label that lets you write on your bottle with a key, coin or any pointy thing. That way people will know which beer is theirs, but also write down the number of a hot chick.. Not a big campaign, but one of the best ideas lately from a beer brand!
