Oi, a telecom provider from Brazil, is hoping to make everyone believe in the magic of Christmas one more time. That’s why it created the Magical Payphone, a device that connected kids with Santa Claus. Installed in Rio de Janeiro, the special payphone was available to kids walking by with their parents. Once they made the call, the kids would chat with Santa. But it was much more than a telephone call. Big surprises were prepared for the kids: lost elves, gifts and even a mapped projection with snow and a choir of kids. Everything to make a great experience for the children and everyone watching.

Honda: Drivemixer

At the auto salon in São Paulo, the new Honda Fit Twist was launched. Not by simply showing the car, but by using it to create music. With a lot of electronic tweeks two DJ’s could use the controls in the car to make their own beats, while driving on a huge record player! We do hope it’s not a pre recorded track but a real live performance. On a sidenote, we’re wondering why in the world this guy is wearing nail polish?

Advertising is taken to the streets more and more. Sometimes the limit with street art is pretty thin. And again in this case, you could almost call it art as well. Smart way to promote dental floss.

By rolling this magazine you can turn it into an amplifier for the iPhone. To celebrate the 1 year existence of Coca-Cola FM you could install an application which actually makes it possible to use the magazine as an amp. The final format allows the sound waves to travel in two different directions at the same time, intensifying the stereo effect created by the device. The next step is to enjoy the music.

Comedy Central: Siesta

This is a very funny commercial for the launch of Comedy Central South-America. The style follows the absurdness of certain shows aired on this television station. And the latin Arnold Schwarzenegger voice makes this commercial even better.

Bradesco Seguros Insurance: Fake ad

A really smart idea to integrate ads onto a mobile device. You can’t avoid it, but you will surely love it. Hopefully other advertisers won’t abuse this idea with cheap annoying ads. The copy behind the campaign is pretty applicable to the idea: Unexpected events happen without warning. Make a Bradesco car insurance plan.

In 2012 Havaianas celebrates its 50 years by launching a limited edition of sandals which 100% of sales are going to be donated to the UNICEF. The sandal remembers the 90′s when people started turning the sole to top inspiring Alpargatas to create the Top models. This film tells a little more about this rich history.

Well, this is an interesting approach to promote something as basic as a jar of mayonnaise. The cash receipt in the supermarket was never used in a way like they did in this campaign. It’s an extremely direct medium which can prove to be very efficient, if used in the right way. In this case they printed recipes on the receipt which could be made with the ingredients the customer bought. Can you go more direct than this?

L’Univers de Chocolat: Car accident

Chocolates with whisky in them will probably never get you a DUI. Yet again, if you have a lot of them? This print is suggesting the worst case scenario in a fun way. This kid had one too many chocolates and crashed it’s toy car because of drunk driving.
