This video appeared online a couple of days ago, it instantly went viral. Two guys their flight got cancelled so to kill the time they have some fun at the airport. At first a lot of people thought it was real but when you look closer you start to notice some strange details, there is nobody at the airport and the quality of the shots is amazing. At a certain point you can see an object marked ‘EOS’ in the guy’s backpack. Probably this is a commercial for Canon, we cannot guarantee it but we are pretty sure.

Canon is promoting Project Imagin8ion, an online user-generated contest, with “Parade”, a television commercial featuring film director Ron Howard and a visual effects laden street parade. The ad uses a cityscape filled with astronaut, floating firefighters, mermaid, giant snake and knight, and a diamond-skinned dog to promote Howard’s Project Imagin8ion calling for eight imaginative photos to set the stage for his next production. Watch the making of after the break.

For those with a taste for adventure, there’s a camera as bold as the active life you lead. It’s the Canon PowerShot D10. Waterproof, freezeproof and shockproof. And how to prove this better by placing stickers of the camera in all kind of sinks.

This is a simple yet genious print ad, to promote the EOS ProGrip Battery Pack of Canon which is developed by Dentsu, Malaysia. I won’t tell you the clue, just click on the image to find out..
Yet I have this feeling that this isn’t the first time this idea is used.. Anybody knows which advertiser has a similar advertisement?
