To promote the new Chevrolet Cobalt, a complete new approach in test-driving was used. The most ideal moment to convince people to buy a new car is when their ‘old’ car lets them down. So when people ordered a tow truck, a brand new Chevrolet came with it and they could use this car to get to their next destination.

Jeff Soto is a street artist that was challenged by Chevrolet to make a a graffiti piece aided by a Chevy Sonic equipped with spray guns and robotic high-tech wizardry. Never expected that robots could do that kind of stuff.

Chevrolet: Billboards Into Bags

Where do billboards go when they die? Well, in this case, they went into the hands and onto the shoulders of everyday people. On September 25th 2010, the Cruze launched with one of the biggest media buys in Chevrolet Canada’s history. From billboards and transit shelters, to bus wraps and station dominations, the urban landscape was wallpapered with Cruze ads. But rather than just taking the materials down and shipping them to landfills, MacLaren McCann wanted them to live on in a meaningful way. So they collected all the outdoor vinyl, combined it with recycled seatbelts and bicycle inner tubes, then created messenger bags, laptop sleeves, plus oversize totes.

Herb Younger had once a 1965 Chevy Impala SS, but had to sell it due to economical reasons. Little did he know, Chevy conspired with his two sons, to return his long-lost Impala. The rest, as you’ll see, is history..

Commuters and traffic wardens were surprised to see a life-size replica of a car made from 1.5 tonnes of Play-Doh parked up in a London street today. The hand-crafted sculpture was created by a team of eight model makers over a two week period to mark the UK launch of the new Chevrolet Orlando family-friendly seven-seater car.

Research by the car company provided the inspiration for the world’s biggest Play-Doh sculpture – 4.6 metre by 1.8metre – as the modelling compound topped a poll of the most-loved toy from yesteryear.  Over 1,000 UK adults voted for their favourite nostalgic toy from their childhood with Play-Doh gaining a fifth (19 per cent) of the vote closely followed by LEGO (17 per cent) and Kinder Egg (15 per cent).

This is the latest Superbowl ad, which is made for Chevrolet to advertise the 426hp Camero. The ad is narrated by two guys who design the ad as it happens to try and come up with the best scenes and screen play. They go through different scenarios and characters, that are all played through live.

The last few months we’ve seen some really creative stuff done with billboards. First there was the billboard carved in wood, after this we found a billboard that was completely drawn by hand. And now again we have a hand-drawn billboard, the backlight gives a really good touch to the concept.
