An ordinary looking East London corner shop was hacked to play a familiar tune whenever anyone picked up a Red Stripe, much to people’s surprise. People did not knew what was happening at first, but it didn’t take long before everybody was dancing.

DDB Stockholm is organizing an online beetle race for their client Volkswagen. No, not the cars, but actual beetles racing each other. DDB explains: There will be one race per day broadcast over a five-day period. Each race will consist of eight bugs, with the two fastest progressing from each heat to the final.

For each succesfull video on Youtube, there is also poorly made imitations. Some of these copies has millions of views. Volkswagen sponsored some videos and put a banner in it saying “Don’t accept imitations, prefer original parts”. People clicking on the banner were sent to the original video.

Cool detail: the names who appear in the commercial are people working in TBWA Los Angeles, the agency of Apple.
