This ‘important’ man looks like a derivative from the Old Spice guy. An arrogant but charming guy, explaining why people drink Whiskey, and most important, why people should drink Johnnie Walker.

Abramet is the Brazilian Association for Road Safety. To raise awareness among drivers about the dangers of drinking and driving these three creative print advertisements were made. The tagline that goes along is: “You can drink and drive. Or drink and live”.

We are not posting this ad because it’s a good one, we are posting it to show you that Wonderbra ads can be much better. Check out the Wonderbra compilation we’ve made some time ago and judge for yourself. Maybe the student who made this one can find some inspiration in it.

Some beautiful pieces of art are made in this commercial. By only using water and adding some ink to it afterwards you can make the coolest images appear out of nowhere. Not sure about he copy though, it seems a bit forced, probably because of the translation?

Bar Aurora & Boteco Ferraz: Drunk valet

Bar Aurora & Boteco Ferraz wanted to test peoples reactions to a drunk valet. They wanted to know how many people would let a drunk driver take their car. The answer was 0, nobody allowed the drunk valet to park their car. You will probably get the picture by now? When refusing the valet to park the car, he gave them their ticket back, on it was the copy: ‘Never let a drunk driver take your car, even if that driver is you’. This guy is one hell of an actor!

McFarland: Pissalyzer

There are a lot of non-profit campaigns to make people aware that drinking and driving don’t go to well together. But this campaign is by far one of the most creative so far. The ‘Pissalyzer’ is a little black square installed in the urinals. If you pee longer than about 25 seconds (the average, supposedly, if you’ve drunk one pint of beer), a message magically appears in the box recommending that you take a cab home.
