Runners Point: You’d better Run!

This Top Topical (=a parody based on a true story) is most probably the best one ever published. On ABC-News, a news reporter alarmed people to look out for a man who had raped a woman. But what the news reporte didn’t knew is that the criminal coincidentally looked a lot like him. Logically, pictures had been taken and were sent around on the internet.
Runners Point (Germany), a shoe shop, has then made this following parody. Dared, simple, but o so striking..

Vibram: FiveFingers

Vibram FiveFingers is a type of shoe manufactured by Vibram. Originally developed as a “barefoot alternative” for sailing and climbing, the footwear has thin, flexible soles that are contoured to the shape of the human foot.

An odd shoe, and therefore an odd web campaign as well.
On a remarkable website, Vibram illustrates the return to the natural essence: running barefoot. The reasoning can be viewed on the naked bodies of two atletes. Not the nakedness interests us but the navigation: It is simple, yet invites people to read the text.

This is an impressive ad for Asics, the Japanese athletic equipment company famous for their running shoes as being amongst the top performance footwear in the market. Their philosophy is: “By staying active, you can shed negativity and achieve a sound mind, in a sound body.“.
The ad is fascinating to see, as well as the making off.

Havaianas, thongs, pluggers, flip-flops or jandals. Call them whatever you want, but everybody knows what they are. It’s the south american outdoor footwear, consisting of a flat sole held loosely on the foot by a Y-shaped strap.
Not only very popular during the warm seasons: from the beach to the mountains, from the sand to the snow, it doesnt matter: it’s always summer with Havaianas.
And to prove that, they’ve made an amusing video..

We men don’t really care about the Ipanema Sandels but of course it is a good excuse for me to post these 3 print advertisements starring Gisele Bundchen with a dress made out of water. Tomorrow I will post another one starring Gisele. It is a old advertisement but that does make her less hot right?
