French anti tobacco association: Submission

Posted by Sander Janssen on February 24, 2010 No comments yet

This campaign got a lot of protest in France this week. The French government already took distance from the campaign, and now feminist associations are fighting to ban this print campaign. They say it refers too much to pedophiles.
The translation of the slogan is: smoking is being a slave of tobacco.

L’eclat du cadre: Rear mirror

Posted by Rindert Dalstra on February 16, 2010 1 comment

L’Eclat du Cadre is a French company that specializes in frames for painting and other forms of art. Advertising agency BDDP & Fils made a framework out of cardboard that could be placed in front of the rear view mirrors of cars. That way it looks like you are looking into a ancient mirror.

Coca Cola: velcro posters

Posted by Sander Janssen on February 7, 2010 1 comment

A very good example of the endless possibilities of advertising at a bus stop. A couple of weeks ago we published a compilation of the most creative bus stop advertisements. This ad proves advertisers still manage to find new and innovative ways to use these bus stops. The only concerning thing about this campaign is the destructive effect, won’t it ruin some people’s clothes? It’s a risky idea, but really creative!

Peugeot: Alchemy

Posted by Sander Janssen on February 1, 2010 No comments yet

The new television spot to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Peugeot is really good. This amazing production took 7 days of filming in HD, they did this in a big hangar in Mons (Belgium). The message for the new campaign goes as following: Combine worlds. Mix ideas. Blend technologies.
The animation delivers the message in a great way.

AIDES: graffiti

Posted by Sander Janssen on January 25, 2010 No comments yet

A couple of weeks ago we already posted a spot from Aides, a French non-profit organisation that fights aids. This spot is not as good as the previous one, but you have to admit it’s pretty funny.

Neufmusic.fr: Collages

Posted by Rindert Dalstra on January 1, 2010 No comments yet

Music stores are selling less and less music albums since the digital music format has gained popularity. But the colorful cover art of the LPs and CDs provide something that digital music does not have. The following wonderful print ad campaign made for French online music store neufmusic.fr are collages from different album covers.

The slogan that goes along with the prints is “Make Your Mix”. This way you do not have to buy the whole album but you can make a selection of different ones.

Aides: old man

Posted by Sander Janssen on December 28, 2009 No comments yet

Aides is a French non-profit organization that fights against aids. In their campaign they say the life expectancy of Africans is only 47 years. Soon they won’t know what an old man looks like. The way they illustrated this statement is pretty dramatic, but the shots in this ad are really nice! The slogan for this campaign is “Let’s not abandon Africa to aids.”
