Paris, is one of the most terrible cities to drive around. Next to the traffic jams and agressive driving style, insurances, maintenance and accidents makes driving a very expensive way of traveling. Europcar France ran a hidden-camera-campaign using crushed cars to raise awareness of renting rather than owning cars..
This is a must see prank..

After France’s colossally disastrous World Cup debacle in South Africa over the summer, they sacked coach Raymond Domenech, banned several players and now, they’ve even dumped long-time kitmaker adidas.

The new Nike kit was unveiled in Paris on Monday and features the phrase “Nos Differences Nous Unissent” (our differences unite us) stitched behind the FFF badge on the shirt. The new kit comes along with a TV spot.

The dramatic voiceover to the TV spot is the poem from the famous *Duel* scene in the play Cyrano de Bergerac, narrated by French hip-hop artist Oxmo Puccino. The spot draws a parallel between the duel scene, in which Cyrano confronts a prince who dared threaten him, and French footballers at different levels competing against their opponents.

Total Immersion created a creative application for the iPhone 4 using augmented reality. The app uses the iPhone 4’s front facing camera to deliver a facial tracking system allowing users to “virtually” try on glasses through their iPhone 4. You can buy it directly online or find the nearest shop that sells that particular model. It is also socially integrated so your friends can approve it in real time before you buy it.

For those of you who have an iPhone 4 and speak French, you can download the app here for free.

Hilarious print ad from Eram, a shoe-brand where they claim that everybody sleeps with everybody in the advertising world. “The assistant slept with the photographer, the model with the casting director, and the creative with the client.. All that for a pair of €39,99..”
The commercial won an Epica Award.

LICRA, the French organisation focused on challenging racism and anti-semiticism, used colour panels to raise awareness of the unfair treatment of people based on colour of skin. Paint chips, ranging from white through to dark brown, are associated with statistics relating to joblessness, finding a flat, being elected as a public official, and being submitted to police checks. “Let’s do something about discrimination”. The campaign won a Print Gold award at the 2010 Epica Awards.
