A lot of companies do bad april 1st jokes every year. But this year, Google got it spot on with their april fools spoof. Introducing Google Nose, a wink to the Google Glass. Especially the smell of success is a great one!

This the season for get-togethers. But, for families that are spread out over cities or even countries, it can be a challenge to get everyone together during the holidays. You can create a Google+ hangout for your family to open presents together. This year, they’ve added added a little holiday cheer to Hangouts invites with a personalized Wallace and Gromit.

This is a cool idea, made by a student in the Forsbergs School of Design and Advertising, Sweden. It shows a way of promoting the well known Google Translate, by letting it translate different song. In the video they show examples of Psy-Gangnam style in English and Carly Rae Jespen in German.

This is pretty impressive, Google managed to map out 100.000 Stars in an interactive visualization of the stellar neighborhood. It includes real location data of over 100,000 nearby stars, including 87 major named stars and our solar system.

This ad isn’t just shared because it’s a Google commercial. But because it’s a damn good commercial. They are playing just the right cards to show people everyone can use the new Google Chromebook. And besides all that it’s just pure and simple fun.

Dad (and children’s book author) Dallas Clayton uses the web to share the inspiring book he wrote for his son with people all over the world, and Google Chrome share his story with their newest ad “An Awesome World”.

Pride Toronto and Google+ present a series of films by award-winning director Jeff Feuerzeig, with music performed by Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields. Simply beautiful to watch.

The Toyota iQ is so smal that it can fit in the streets where the Google Street View car couldn’t go. So Toyota decided to film those streets in their little iQ and complete the Street View images. On their website you can even flag a street and ask the iQ to come over and add this missing street. It’s only possible in Belgium at the moment though.
