IKEA is applying an interesting strategy in this commercial, they started to think why people are using their furniture in real life. DJ’s and vinyl lovers are using the EXPEDIT shelving units for years now to store their records and finally IKEA realizes this. In a smart way they are illustrating this learning and play on the vinyl trend of the last few years.

During the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Ikea found a nice way to promote their bathrooms. They set up a chemical toilet in but inside there was hidden space, a 20 m2 bathroom completely furnished by IKEA. People that dare to enter were pleasantly surprised and didn’t want to leave afterwards..
