Have a break, have a KitKat. This slogan will probably never get old because the advertising opportunities are endless. In this commercial a couple of construction workers are having the time of their life when they recreate the famous Newton’s cradle with some cranes and wrecking balls.

Rijksmuseum Twente in the Netherlands is running the Abstract USA exhibition from September 2010 through February 2011. KitKat has added one more work of art to the collection. A painting that has no meaning whatsoever. To give people a break from all the modern art with multiple layers and deeper meanings. It is what it is, a big red canvas. Have a Break, Have a KitKat.

You can view the image after the break.

Yesterday Rindert posted this print ad for KitKat. Today we’ve ran across another one that also links the famous KitKat slogan ‘Have a break, have a KitKat’, to reality. Probably everybody knows the annoying vuvuzelas from the FIFA World Cup. Well if you want to have a break from them… have a KitKat.

These posters were strategically placed at the entrance of squares and parks, the posters can be broken down and reassembled into chairs. When this is done you can “Have a Break” with a KitKat off course.

This is a really nice campaign for KitKat, it’s a couple of months old but definitely worth sharing!
One day before Easter, they sent an email to the 2 largest Dutch news sites. The email was written by a non-existing person, who claimed he saw the face of Jesus in his KitKat after taking a bite. As proof of his story he attached 2 pictures of the famous KitKat.

The largest Dutch news site published the story immediately. After four days more than 150.000 sites published the story.
