KLM now responds to your questions within the hour via their Twitter account. To promote the 24/7 service, they replaced their usual typed responses by a living alphabet.

For 1 day, The KLM Reply saw 140 KLM employees give unique replies to friends’ and followers’ tweets and posts, by assembling the answer live before their eyes. All within the hour.

A part of the Dutch tradition are Delft blue tiles and KLM created a nice Facebook app with it. Users can decorate their profile picture and add an inspirational saying. Futhermore they can share it with friends by using the KLM ‘Tile Yourself’ Facebook App. Part of the campaign is the chance to see your Delft blue portrait tile displayed on a real KLM plane, which will be flown around the world.

We have received another nice campaign from KLM this week. They introduce their new and improved Europe Business Class. The most important new asset is ‘personal space’. To prove the human need for this personal space KLM conducted a social experiment, using candid camera.

Royal Dutch Airline KLM made an exciting campaign to connect with their customers called KLM Surprise at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. They tracked down “how happiness spread’, the campaign involved surprising travellers with unique gifts based on their social networking profiles. Watch the video to find out more.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has launched Economy Comfort, which offers passengers a greater range of seating comfort in Economy Class.

To promote this they made a street marketing campaign in Manchester Airport with infamous Dutch magician Ramana. Passengers passing by saw him sitting on an invisible seat, seemingly floating on air.
