Editions Points is a publisher specialized in small pocket books. The company found a revolutionary idea to promote its books on the ‘Salon du Livre de Paris’. Instead of pick-pocketing valuable objects out of people’s handbags, they slipped flyers promoting their books, into visitors’ pockets and handbags. Apparantly they hired former pickpockets to carry out the mission..

A very good example of the endless possibilities of advertising at a bus stop. A couple of weeks ago we published a compilation of the most creative bus stop advertisements. This ad proves advertisers still manage to find new and innovative ways to use these bus stops. The only concerning thing about this campaign is the destructive effect, won’t it ruin some people’s clothes? It’s a risky idea, but really creative!

The Practice is an American legal drama at a Boston law firm. Advertising agency Marcel Paris was given the briefing to introduce the television program to a new audience for TV station Jimmy. They placed stickers with images of an interrogation or line-up on mirrors in bathrooms of movie theatres. It gave the impression of a two way mirror. The result was a 4,5% increase in audience.

Two days ago bert posted a really cool campaign that won at the Cannes Lions last year.
This made me think of another campaign. It is a controversial print campaign from Diesel, they launched it in january 2007, and it won a silver lion in the category print at the Cannes festival two years ago.
In this campaign Diesel continues it’s strategy by provoking discussion of serious social issues, and adding a hint of irony to it. I do not think these images need any explanation…
