To promote the ‘monster suction’ of the new Miele vacuum cleaner. A tunnel was converted into a huge vacuum hose. Or that’s at least what they are implying in this commercial. Unfortunately it’ a fake. But that doesn’t change the fact they got a lot of free media attention with it.


Huggies: Superstar athletes

London 2012 just ended and it’s never to early to start preparing to the 2032 Olympics.
Huggies Israel, with the aid of sports commentator Zoheir Bahalool helps parents see their kids as superstar athletes. When baby videos were uploaded onto the Huggies website, Bahalool himself provided a running commentary on each burp, roll and tumble.


Coca-Cola: Smiley

Keep it simple has always been a golden rule in advertising. With this print ad for Coca-Cola they are spot on. In line with the ‘open happiness’ campaign they didn’t have to search far to find inspiration. There is even happiness to be found in the Coca-Cola logo.

Launched by the Israel Anti-Drug Authority, the campaign communicates the hazards of drug abuse in an innovative way. Where do billboards go when they die? Well, in this case, they went into the hands and onto the shoulders of everyday people. On September 25th 2010, the Cruze launched with one of the biggest media buys in Chevrolet Canada’s history. From billboards and transit shelters, to bus wraps and station dominations, the urban landscape was wallpapered with Cruze ads. But rather than just taking the materials down and shipping them to landfills, MacLaren McCann wanted them to live on in a meaningful way. So they collected all the outdoor vinyl, combined it with recycled seatbelts and bicycle inner tubes, then created messenger bags, laptop sleeves, plus oversize totes.

Celebrating 125 years of Coca-Cola continues. This time they use the happiness theme in Peru. In a crowded district in Lima they deliberately left a wallet containing $100, now it comes down to testing people’s honesty. Who will return it to it’s rightful owner and receive a ‘happiness’ welcome? Apparently 70% did!
