BBVA Foundation: The Little Guy Inside the ATM

In Peru the majority of the children can’t even read. To make the people aware of this huge problem this fun campaign was launched. They found a medium to access an enormous part of the population, the ATM machine. When you are getting money from an ATM you can’t just simply walk away from the message. It looks a bit risky though, a lot of people won’t like their privacy to be ‘invaded’ when it comes to their personal finances.

We don’t sell weapons to villains, so why do we sell them to tyrans? That’s a point which has ben proven in these two video’s. A super-villain arrives at a weapons factory trying to buy guns. But when security sees who the villain is they refuse to do so.

In order to stop the people from Washington to waste money. These food games illustrate that money shouldn’t go wasted on excessive dinners but go directly to the people that really need it. Especially the editing and the directing of this commercial is wonderful.

De Opvoedingslijn is a Flemish advice hotline for parents with out of control kids. This spring, women visiting the ladies’ room of a design hotel heard embarrassing sounds. They were all guessing what exactly happened, but the plot was totally unexpected.

A brilliant set of print ads for Save the Children. Apparently 70% of abused children turn into abusive adults themselves. This is illustrated in a very strong way in the three circles below. This is most definitely award winning material.

Amnesty International: The bigger game

A great concept developed by some students of the Miami Ad School in Germany. On children’s day you can download an update for the successful video-game Battlefield 3, when playing the game after this update you will have to complete a round without guns and armour. When you get ‘killed’ you will see you just played the game as an innocent child. After this you are invited to donate money off course. We are not sure though if EA games would ever let advertisers mess with their precious video-game.

More and more traffic accidents are caused due to texting. The organization Responsible Young Drivers convinced them it is a very bad idea. They oblige them to text while driving! See how Belgian learner drivers reacted when they were told they had to pass the mobile phone test in order to get their driver’s license.

There are thousands of vagrants in New York, many call out for help, but are often ignored. The main problem is that people don’t know why these people are out on the street. BBH New York gave 4 vagrants a smartphone where they could tweet their feelings and adventures, which changed their lives for good..

You can spot one of these buses in London nowadays. A big sticker on the back makes the bus resemble an animal transport. Accompanied with the slogan ‘They can’t ring the bell when they want to get off.’ It’s a campaign to stop live animal transports.
