It has been created by Young & Rubicam, Peru.
Movistar is a major mobile phone operator owned by Telefónica Móviles. It operates in Spain and in many Latin American countries. They’re also active in Peru, and that is where Young & Rubicam made his this beautiful ad..

The piranha is one of the most aggressive fishes on the planet, they have really sharp teeth and are always hungry for meat. In this ambient Interbank has placed fish tanks in the main banking zones in Lima, in these tanks there is a big pile of money. The money is just for the grabbing, except it is guarded by several piranhas. Nobody dared to touch it. The slogan for the campaign was: your money is safe with Interbank.
I’m sure in Europe this campaign wouldn’t work because nobody knows what piranhas look like, so people would stick their hands in the aquarium immediately. Another concern with this campaign is the possible analogy between bankers and piranhas, that can’t be good!

Some times simple ideas are genius. Just slice an apple in the shape of the Oprah House in Sydney and American Airlines can promote their flights from and to New York.
