Tramontina, known for its garden furniture, hand tools and kitchen supplies in Brazil this time promotes their apparently sharp knives. The tagline that goes along is: “Cut Faster, Eat Fresher.”

Au Fait is a newspaper from Morocco, which means “by the way”. The tagline for these four print advertisements is: “ We deliver it how it is.” And that is exactly what the prints illustrate.

Ogilvy Brazil targeted retirees where they spend plenty of leisure time in this clever effort for Brazilian department store Magazine Luiza. The agency purchased a square in one of the country’s most popular newspapers and crossword mags and contributed a special clue that informed them of a special service offered by the store. This is an effective way of getting your target consumer market to write your brand’s name. It is clear, simple and interactive.


Taringa: Let kids stay kids

Argentinian web-based virtual community, Taringa created a thought provoking print ad campaign that relates the sites mandate to not allow any publications of explicit material. Ad agency DDB, Buenos Aires produced the two aptly titled print ads ‘Wet Pussy’ and ‘Black Cock’ with the clever copy stating “Let kids stay kids. Use parental control’.



E-Graphics: Wall

Print production company E-Graphics wanted a cost-effective campaign that showed their capabilities. They printed a die-cut, tack decal that resembled a turned-up corner of a page. When applied to a surface, it created the illusion that the surfaces had been printed by E-Graphics.

Ace, also known as Tide is a popular laundry detergent manufactured by Procter & Gamble. The following two print advertisements link to “The Great White” in this case the white shark and avalanche. The print advertisement that shows the avalanche is a bit confusing, not?

National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, is a movement defending the rights of journalists. Since 2001 over 100 journalists have been killed for just bringing the news. The visualisation shows a camera on the left and on the right you see the barrel of a gun.

These posters were produced for the inauguration of the First Floor Under. The publisher’s digital TBWA in Italy. The first show was about music piracy and the exhibition was composed of the six pictures shown in a poster from a video installation and performance in stop motion.
