What better way to demonstrate the superior absorbency of Bounty paper towels than with some big spills. On Seventh Avenue in New York, busy commuters are greeted by a 182cm (6 foot) tall coffee cup knocked over and spilling onto the sidewalk – complete with steam and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

And Los Angeles, weekend shoppers find a 2 meter (7 foot) long, 250kg (550 pound) Ice pop melting in the Third Street Promenade.

Both these spills were accompanied by sampling and outdoor ads delivering the message, Bounty “Makes small work of BIG spills”.

Termites can destroy your house so you better get a company to help you get rid of theme. Terminix is such a company and had this nice idea of showing people what can happen to your house. Of course they exaggerated a bit but it catches your attention.

I like the usage of this medium to deliver the message. In the way they did this, I think nobody ever done this before… I’m glad we don’t have much trouble with these little villains in Europe.

I’m a big fan of creative projects with billboards, everybody in the street can see and enjoy it. It gives a good image to advertising fims, because this is something everybody can appreciate.
