These print ads for Classic Rock are implying that these 3 artists didn’t die. They keep on living through their music. For the people who don’t know them: Jimi Hendrix was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is often considered to be the greatest electric guitarist in the history of rock music. Michael Hutchence was an Australian singer-songwriter, most famous for his work with rock band INXS. Bon Scott was a Scottish-born Australian rock musician, best known for being the lead singer and lyricist of Australian hard rock band AC/DC from 1974 until his death in 1980.

Every year ‘Studio Brussel’ the best radio station of Belgium is organizing the album top 100. It’s a selection of the 100 best albums ever released. To promote the radio show they have released this cool print ad. Probably some people wont get it, but it’s a reference to the famous album Nevermind by the grunge band Nirvana. This album got 2nd place 2 years in a row. The jar implies they are storing the album for an entire year.
After the jump you can see the top 10 result of this album top 100.

A really cool television spot for Israel Radio, they are using television as a medium to promote a radio station. This spot makes people think about what they hear and see.
‘What you hear has much more impact, perk up your ears, radio advertising works.’

Radio AM640: Pee Poster

AM 640 is a sports radio station, it’s situated in Toronto (the biggest city of Canada). Toronto is also the city of the famous Toronto Maple Leafs, one of the best hockey teams in Canada. To promote the radio station Saatchi&Saatchi placed posters in the mensroom at the Air Canada Centre, the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The poster has a motion detector, and when someone walks up to the urinal it plays an audio tape. I bet this is pretty funny when you go and have a leak. But what if you have to go 5 times in one night? It wont be that funny anymore…

Confuse and conquer, is the motto of Belgiums advertising agency ‘Mortierbrigade’, and they sure as hell did it in this TV commercial. It fits perfectly in the style of the controversial radio station ‘Studio Brussel’, and offcourse Mortierbrigade is the best advertising agency to support this image.
