Danny MacAskill, the Scottish street trials bike stuntman who heralded over 21 million hits on YouTube for his Inspired Bicycles video shot in Edinburgh last year, has released a new film that follows him back to his hometown in the Isle of Skye. Travelling with filmmaker Dave Sowerby on a mission to seek out the most challenging riding spots along the way, Danny takes on ancient castles, leaps over rocky terrain and jumps onto and over bridges in the stunning wilderness of remote Scotland.
Today I stumbled upon this ad for Red Bull. At first I thought it was the work of a student, because it’s not really the style of Red Bull ads. But aparently it’s from an agency from Georgia, this expands our database a little step further.
Somewhere, there’s a secret half pipe built just for the King of the snowboarding, Shaun White. He recently won the Snowboard half pipe gold medal at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Together with Red Bull, known for its extreme ideas, he created an incredible half pipe just outside Silverton, Colorado. It’s the great example of a lifestyle brand taking their content strategy to the edge and further. It is called RedBull Project X.
