Subaru has a new technology built in its cars, called Eyesight, which are forward-facing stereoscopic cameras mounted inside the cars. To promote this they installed the system on several miniature cars and let hundreds of cars start. What you see is beautiful, also because every cars makes a sound. Perfect way to show how in a chaotic environment, the systems keeps on operating..

This proves that Japan is not only the best in making weird and ‘wtf?’ commercials, they can be really creative too. In the following commercial for Subaru, made by the agency Dentsu, you see an amazing wolrd of car parts. Everything in the commercial is over-detailed, which makes it like a 3D-fantasy movie you’re watching..

This campaign is not really recent but we still wanted to share this amazing idea.
This is a picture from the Subaru Subaglue campaign, the strapline for this campaign was: ‘It sticks to the road’. Subaru is promoting its car’s symmetrical all-wheel drive, implying the car literally sticks to the road.
To get these cars bolted upside down to the truck they had to remove the engines and transmissions. The result is really amazing, the 3 cars upside down are creating a mirror image from the cars on top. The truck toured through the UK for almost 8 weeks.

I posted this ad because I like the idea behind it..
It’s original and it shows that Subaru is not only a sportscar, but also a comfortable car.
During the making it must be odd to feel hundreds of hands touching your butt, but hey: the result is nice!
