This is a fun campaign for the car-free mountain resort ‘Braunwald’ in Switzerland. A poster is covered with sealed air bubbles, the bubbles are supposedly filled with clean mountain air. Pedestrians in big cities can pop the bubbles and breed the clean Swiss air.

Helvetas is a Swiss non-profit organisation, for years they are providing toilets for people who don’t have any. The group said 2.6 billion people have to defecate outdoors (40% of the planet’s population). The lack of proper sanitation is leading to the pollution of water sources with consequences that have led to the death of more people since the Second World War. Every year 1,8 million people die because of these bad conditions.
In Montreux, a town in Switzerland, you can find a statue of the famous British rock singer Freddie Mercury who died in 1991. The Mercury statue honours the links of the musician with the Montreux Jazz Festival and a studio in the town where Queen recorded music.
Members of Helvetas pulled down his trousers and placed a roll of toilet paper under his arm, this was done to remind people of the cause Helvetas is fighting for.
As part of its campaign, Helvetas also did the same to statues in Geneva of trader Charles Pictet-de-Rochemont and in Zurich of Ganymede, a mythical Greek figure.
Most of you probably know the town of Montreux from the popular song ‘Smoke on the water’ by Deep Purple. Here you can see Rod Evans, the singer of Deep Purple, explain what the song ‘Smoke on the water’ is about.
After the jump you can find more pictures of this campaign.
“The melting of the glaciers is an indisputable sign of global climate change”.
That’s not the first time we hear something like that. But not everyone is willing to change!
Luckily there is still one non-profit organization that does everything to change peoples mind… Greenpeace!
Greenpeace Switzerland assembled 600 volunteers to do a photo shoot under Spencer Tunick, famous for his pictures of nude gatherings in public settings worldwide. (Like in Mexico City, where 18.000 people undressed themselves for the man)
The organisers said they wanted to demonstrate a symbolic relationship between the vulnerability of the melting glacier and the human body.
Nice work, I must admit..
After the video you can see some pics (for the fans, really good zoom-quality!)
This is a nice, non-profit ambient case. On the public transport, tied arms were put on the back of some seats..
It was like the people who sat in front of you, were tied..
Victims are people just like you and me.
acat.ch Christian campaign to abloish torture.
Can you imagine a mountain that steep? These bikers take it to the next step, biking on fat people.
Brr, I’d rather stay on the clean roads or in the mountains… This ad was made for Sport Plausch a store that mainly sells mountain bikes.
This commercial is made by Saatchi & Saatchi for the Red Cross, the international humanitarian movement with approximately 97 million volunteers worldwide.
It’s an animation video which shows that simple gestures can make a big difference..
