Now this is a funny commercial for STIHL, it’s something completely new for this brand but it works. Power tools, a girl in bikini and humour, that’s all guys need in a commercial. With an ending like in this spot they can’t miss.

Some great insights for Leatherman, made by students. The illustrations are a cool and powerful support for the message. Especially the big image is good, the other 2 might look a bit forced, nevertheless these are good ads. For the ones that don’t know Leatherman, it’s the company that makes the world famous multi-tools that are illustrated in these ads.

With the philosophy: ‘The less you earn, the longer you work. Close the wage gap.’ Mortierbrigade made this spoof on the famous music video by Benny Benassi with his song Satisfaction. A couple of grandmothers are using power tools in a sexy way, because they need the money.

Now this is something really cool, maybe one of the best print campaigns from the last weeks. A great approach for promoting an off road car. The slogan says: ‘Defender. The best tool for the job’.

How can a man possibly test whether his Craftsman tools can bare one an another. Well; invite two of your best mates, steal a mannequin doll, get your old bike out of the garage, buy some duct tape, dress the mannequin as superman (by giving it a cape), go to an abandoned place and try to let her fly..
