For many people in the world it is easy to access water, but there are much more people that have difficulties to find drinkable water. In this spot is illustrated how easy it is to just get some water from the tap, but at the same moment you can see the difficulties that other people have when going for water. The little girl plays her role just perfect, you can almost feel her fear sometimes.

Many children are left without a father or a mother due to the political conflicts all over the world. Unicef made this stunning advertisement in 2006 to support Foster Care Project for Children with the slogan: “Every child needs a family”.
Everybody knows them, you probably had them when you were a child: Toy Soldiers. Building armies and let them fight each other while making funny ‘beatbox’ noises.
Well, UNICEF does it again…
They thought of a clever direct mailing action. a typical packet of toy soldiers that once opened reveals that figurines are in fact children doing their the stuff that kids should be doing, and not being turned into child soldiers.

This is a very powerfull campaign. I think everybody who will come across it will read it untill the end, and be shocked in some way. They illustrated the anonimity of the internet in a superb way, everyone can hide stuff behind some folders…
I just hope they didn’t publish the ad in this version, can anyone find the typo?
Unicef launched, together with The Killers and MTV a new video clip. These clips are a part of the awareness campaigns Unicef does about Human Trafficking. Last year Radiohead’s clip of ‘All I Need‘ was made.
I’m not a big fan of these songs, but these clip makes you think..

Some time ago I’ve posted a cool campaign for unicef’s tap project.
Now I found the official television ad for this project, it’s pretty shocking, but I like the effect it has on it’s viewers.
Millions of people around the world have no access to clean drinking water. 4,200 children die of water-related diseases everyday. If you donate a dollar to Unicef you can provide a child with 40 days of clean drinking water. You can donate by putting a dollar in this beverage machine in New York. But you can also do this by texting or online on the official unicef website of this initiative.
But we are more interested in this specific initiative launched by Casanova Pendrill. They’ve put a beverage machine out on the streets of new york, this machine only sells dirty water. You wouldn’t drink this water, why should other people have to?
If you want more info about the campaign you should definitely visit the website. There you can find a video.
Unicef Finland wanted to create more awareness for children’s rights. There are more than 145 million orphans or abandoned children all over the world.
They placed 14 baby strollers in major cities in Finland with the noise of a crying baby. Inside the the strollers there was a note with the following message: “Thank you for caring, we hope there is more people like you. Unicef Be a mom for a moment.”
The media attention was huge for this campaign. All major TV networks, radio and web news reported about this. Estimated was that more than 80% of all Fins knew this campaign after two days.
The idea was to place very special Landmine-stickers with self-adhesive topsides in front of the booths. They were invsible unitl they stuck to the people’s feet. As soon as passers-by removed the stickers, they were surprised to see a landmine-picture on the bottom side and were informed that in many other countries they would have been mulitated at this moment.
