USAAccording LG, their vacuum cleaners featuring ‘Kompressor technology’ could save lives. Maybe that’s a bit too dramatic, but in their commercial it could definitely protect your family for possible dangers. It is not really an animation spot, but the effect catches the viewer’s attention.

SwedenElectrolux has revealed five vacuum cleaners made from plastic waste collected from the world’s seas and oceans. Throughout the summer Electrolux joined forces with other organisations to collect plastic debris from the world’s major oceans and seas, in coral reefs, coast lines, sandy beaches and rocky crevices. All the material was sorted and documented and Electrolux’s research and design studios set to work creating the five unique vacuum cleaners each representing the ocean from which the plastic originates: The Pacific, North Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Indian Ocean and the Baltic Sea.
