Another creative outdoor advertisement made for Volkswagen. This time they placed the new Volkswagen up on the side of a house next to a ruler. The translation: “It’s great to be small.”
This hitchhiker is using an extraordinary way to show by-passers where he wants to go. By simply writing down his coordinates of latitude and longitude people with a GPS can find out what his exact destination is. Underneath the picture you can only see the word Touareg and the Volkswagen logo, so we are asking ourselves the question if this is an ad for the GPS system in the Touareg or for this type of Volkswagen itself? Because every car with a GPS can add these coordinates to its system.
Volkswagen is inviting its fans in the Netherlands to vote for their all-time favorite VW model – and win the one-off vehicle as a reward, in a social media campaign by Dutch agency Achtung.
What is more, the so-called Fanwagen will be equipped with social media features, making it, VW says ‘the most social car ever’. Clearly designed for the social network-obsessed, these include a license plate that shows your relationship status, and the ability to print your newsfeed off at the dashboard.
Al you have to do is go to the Fanwagen Facebook Page and vote for the car you like best, be it the Beetle or the iconic Camper Van.
This is a funny commercial for Volkswagen, but we’re not sure what the connection is between the plot and a car. But hey, it will probably appeal to a lot of women.
Here is a fantastic new ad for the Volkswagen Tiguan entitled “Cross Country” created by DDB, Sydney. The commercial features a couple who pull a fast one on their camping friends and couldn’t have been done any better.
Volkswagen tried something different when they launched the new Volkswagen Beetle. The Beetle was brought to life in a series of augmented reality billboards around Toronto, Canada.
In canada several art galleries started to pop-up in the strangest places. Even more remarkable was the fact people could take these pieces of art. Every time someone ’stole’ a painting it was replaced by a new one. The paintings or photographs are all inspired by the new Volkswagen Jetta GLI.
This new commercial for Volkswagen summarizes the cabriolet lifestyle perfectly. Showing images of kids playing and the copy: “Remember how the cars you had most fun in never had a roof?”.
Volkswagen are promoting the big come back of their Golf Cabriolet with an augmented reality app. The French agency behind this concept is Paris based Agency.V. who have created a world first with this AR car showroom app for the iPad2, iPhone and Android.
