Each year in France, almost 100 000 animals are abandoned, including 60 000 during summertime. Before summer break, the “30 Millions d’Amis” (French for “30 million friends”) Foundation launches a campaign against this predicament, made by Buzzman Agency, assisted by MEC Media.
Raising awareness is one of the missions of the 30 Millions d’Amis foundation. Officially recognized to be of public utility, the foundation fights against violence towards animals, such as mistreatment or abandonment. The recognition of animal sensitivity by the French Civil Code was its big victory of 2015.
To highlight this sensitivity, the 30 Millions d’Amis Foundation has bet on emotion. A powerful video is indeed at the center of its 2016 campaign against abandonment.
Directed by Vincent Lobelle, the film shows the paradox between the unconditional fidelity of the animal, ready to brave the elements for his master; and the cowardice of some humans capable of abandoning their “best friend”
