Twentieth Century Fox decided to break a record by building the tallest ice sculpture for the release of ‘Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ on Blu-ray disc.

The only requirements were 60,000 kg (133,000 pounds) of ice (from four states), 14 professional ice-sculptors and four days of work.

The ice sculpture is more 14 meters tall (48 feet) and is supposed to be the Ice Age character Scrat. In my opinion it looks more like a giant stack of ice. After the jump you can watch the making of and in this case they could have use a high def camera if you are Twentieth Century Fox right?
