To celebrate 25 years of partnership between Carlsberg and Liverpool FC (from the English Premier League), CP+B Copenhagen created a special beer with the taste of victory and defeat the club experienced over the course of the last quarter century.

Research shows that plants are affected by not just light, but also sound, vibrations and other energies. Using large-scale LCD screens in a custom greenhouse, Carlsberg scientists grew hop plants from seed to 5-meter-tall while immersed in Liverpool FC matches from the past 25 years, along with sound of screaming fans 24 hours a day. The hops were also visited by Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp, and legends Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman. The resulting special edition beer will be sampled in special pubs and at club’s match against Hudderfield Town on October 28th.
